MSA was hired by this highly rated private K-8 Catholic Elementary School to plan for phased expansion and renovation of their physical plant, built in the 1920’s through 1950’s. Through a Master Plan process in working with a committee of 16 stakeholders, we were able to identify a number of priorities for this multi-parish school. The process outlined deficiencies in program areas for: Physical Education, Music, Visual Arts, Sciences, Guidance, and Administration.
Our team developed a multi-phase plan which will start with a large multi-purpose Building, that will eventually be connected back to the main building with an Administration/Dining wing expansion.
An analysis of the original 1920’s and 1950’s physical plant determined that the building was in good structural condition, but additional science labs, finishes upgrades, and utility improvements were needed to align the school to the conditions of competing private and public schools.
