Beachcliff Market Square was as a two level, 52,000 square foot, upscale mini-mall located in the heart of the central business district of Rocky River, Ohio (Cleveland). The Beachliff Theater, circa 1936, was transformed into a two level, specialty shopping center in 1979 and was honored by the State of Ohio for “Innovative Adaptive Reuse” of an historical property. In 2005, the existing center once again went through a major re-development, this time into a 100,000 sf Lifestyle Center. Because of the historical significance to the community, the theater building remains a significant cornerstone of the project and was renovated, allowing the individual store fronts to face the exterior of the existing building. The project also includes a new, 70,000 sf single story Lifestyle Center with underground parking garage. Individual tenants, each with a unique branded storefront, gives the center the feel of a Community Square or Main Street.
