New Construction

Symmes Township Public Safety Building

Symmes Township, Ohio

Symmes Township selected MSA to redesign the Loveland-Symmes Fire Department and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Patrol Station. Previously housed in separate, inadequately sized and functionally outdated facilities, Symmes Township elected to house both facilities in combined accommodations. The irregular shape of the site and the character of existing buildings in the vicinity influenced the design’s scale and detail. MSA’s design of the new Fire Department Station #61 and Sheriff’s Patrol District #3 Station successfully incorporates shared spaces and accommodations to be used by both departments such as training rooms, an Emergency Operations Center (EOC), fitness rooms, locker rooms and lobby areas, all surrounded by an unfinished shell space that can be easily adapted for any future Township growth.
