New Construction

Springfield Township Fire and Administrative Headquarters

Cincinnati, Ohio

MSA first conducted a Facilities Master Plan for Springfield Township to determine the functional and space needs for fire services, police services, and the public works department. The Space Needs Analysis and a continued growth in calls for service demonstrated to Township representatives that current facilities would be undersized and outdated based on future growth projections. The existing fire headquarters facility was inadequate in many areas including: the apparatus bay height and width, building exhaust and ventilation, NFPA-regulated clean rooms, SCBA and decontamination rooms, ADA access, friendly public access, and ability for cohabitation. The new Fire Headquarters for Springfield Township was completed Fall of 2004.
