The Madeira & Indian Hill Joint Fire District consists of two fire stations, one located in the City of Madeira and one located in the Village of Indian Hill. The Fire District asked MSA to evaluate both existing stations, conduct response time mapping to determine the best location for both stations, and make recommendations to the Board on whether to renovate or replace the stations and recommend locations for new stations (if applicable). In the end it was determined that the District was best served from their current locations, but that the existing stations were beyond repair and should be replaced.
Madeira Fire Station contains six sleeping rooms, a kitchen/day room, fitness room, a small administration area, and three apparatus bays that primarily hold EMS units.
Indian Hill Fire Station contains six sleeping rooms, a kitchen/day room, fitness room, a hose tower that doubles as a training facility, the District’s administrative offices, a training room, and four apparatus bays that primarily hold fire apparatus.
