The City of Middletown, Ohio commissioned MSA to complete a facility analysis of the existing five fire station facilities and to present a Strategic Facilities Master Plan for the City Fire Department. The Master Plan included a needs assessment based on the current requirements and goals of the Fire Department, including a review of potential new site opportunities, consolidation of existing facilities, and the renovation and improvement opportunities at existing Fire Stations to remain.
The goals for the Strategic Facilities Master Plan are primarily twofold. The first goal is to establish a cost-effective Construction Improvement Plan for the Middletown Fire Department’s facilities in such a way as to allow the City to implement the required construction in a fiscally-responsible manner. The second goal is to create a strategy to provide services to current areas while preparing for the future.
