The University of Cincinnati hired MSA Architects to provide full architectural and sport planning for a domed structure and a full size NCAA regulation football practice field. The practice facility also accommodates Division 1 Lacrosse and a regulation half field. In addition to architectural services, MSA conceptually designed a feature graphic wall for the South end of the facility. The wall-mounted, panelized system would act as a focal point. In addition, when the dome is deflated, the proposed branded wall would also mask the large retaining wall, which is 30’€™ at its highest. The design calls for color application of imagery onto a perforated, panelized system. In addition, MSA coordinated the school’s branding throughout the facility, including field graphics, debossed logos and icons in stone-work, and imagery for proposed affiliated buildings.
