MSA was hired to design and develop prototype stops for the Dixie Highway Corridor. As part of TANK’s long term regional transit initiative to increase ridership and better serve the surrounding communities, they identified the highest, most frequent use stops along major transit corridors to incorporate increased site amenities. The prototype stops included new shelters, stop marker signs, pylon identifiers, benches, bike racks, and trash cans with integrated TANK branding. One of the main objectives was to increase visibility and awareness while improving the overall rider experience. New stop markers provide basic ridership information, including a custom transit map designed specifically for the transit corridor. Tall pylon signs are visible from a distance and help to identify the key stops. The new shelters improve comfort and security and further enhance the transit corridor.
