MSA has a decade-long relationship with this private, 800-student, all-girls high school in the northern Cincinnati suburb of Reading, on the campus of the Mother House of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur Religious Order. In addition to architectural, interior design and planning services, MSA was asked to provide Branded Environments services for Donor Recognition Wall designs. Three designs were originally proposed for a different location than the final and were conceived to be modular, changeable and tamper resistant, taking into account the surrounding finishes and texture. The final design was created to solely display past, present and future donor recognition and was chosen for placement in the new atrium, directly inside the main entrance of the school. The multi-layered solution is easily updated for future donations.
As part of the renovation and relocation of Mount Notre Dame’s administration offices, MSA Architects provided a custom design solution for a feature wall, which is highly visible from one of the main corridors. The school is focused on the college prep experience -€“ an experience that is rooted in Catholic tradition and superior academic quality. The curriculum strives to position empowered young women in college, career and in life. This design solution applies branding messages that celebrate the mission of ‘€œEmpowered Young Women’ at the school. Photos hand-picked by the MSA and Mount Notre Dame team exemplify the nine characteristics of these young women, identified by the school’€™s curriculum, and are placed within photo frames which have been installed for changeability. It is intended for the client to be able to produce fresh images of students in action as future classes cycle in and out of the school.
