GHSA is an innovative partnership between public and private entities. Atrium Medical Center is the founding partner with Miami University and Warren County Career Center. They are joined by Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. The City of Middletown and State of Ohio have also been involved in obtaining financing for the project.
The goal of this joint venture is to train high school students in technical programs in healthcare fields while allowing opportunity to move directly into university degree programs, potentially entering into four-year programs.
High school students have the opportunity to obtain college credit while still enrolled in high school, thus avoiding duplication of learning credits and seamlessly moving on into high education opportunities, potentially saving time and money. The goal of the project is to provide education and training for high school and adult students.
